‘Adulting’ traversed the landscape of growing up, romance and unrealistic dreams of adulthood. The show is well crafted and feels professional but also maintains a sense of identity. Tash told real and relatable stories that complemented her entertaining yet effortlessly affable stage presence.
One of the most notable things about this show is Tash’s killer singing voice. She sung songs with funny and occasionally poignant lyrics alongside very familiar tunes. Each of these songs were standouts in their own right but a medley that sampled some Disney classics filled the audience with joy and was a personal highlight.
If you’ve ever questioned your life choices, felt inadequate to other people’s successes or you just want to try out a cabaret for the first time, ‘Adulting’ is a highly enjoyable show that is worth checking out.
