This puntastic man has talent and it’s not in the areas you expect. Ok, the magic maybe, but the skill to beat box and deliver clear lyrical rhymes was a complete surprise! Jared approached the decent Sunday night crowd well and used his overly enthusiastic audience interaction to bring us together.
Jared had a tendency to hit some contentious/crude notes, which strained at times but he did so without malice and a boyish smile. The show also had a slight wayward structure, alternating between each of the elements at a frenetic pace. That said, this meant that the show was unpredictable and did not feel stale.
What sets ‘Young, Dumb & Full of Pun’ apart is the music. If you are a fan of beat boxing, rap, comedy and the mixing of some or all of these elements at the same time, then you will have fun with this show!
