Gillian is an excellent storyteller and held the audience’s attention completely. She shares her story in a captivating fashion; her laughter, energy and anger is empowering.
‘Giant and Angry’ covers serious issues including “creeps and predators” and how society as well as other’s actions can shape a person’s sense of self. This story-driven show, which features deeply personal experiences told through a well-executed narrative, is conducted in a way that brings laughs from the audience as well as respect for Gillian as a performer.
Alongside the laughs, the show also included highlights such as an informative self-defence class on ‘how to break someone’ as well as a handy reminder never to mess with Gillian or her dad.
‘Giant and Angry’ has a richness to it’s story that makes an audience want to hear more.
